Medieval Bosnia

VISOKO
Bosnian Pyramids is a unique archaeological and scientific project. You can see the largest and oldest pyramid on the Planet, 29.200 +/- 400 years old. Visoko recently became very popular due to its evidence of the first traces of life dating back to the 5th millennium BC
TRAVNIK
Travnik, the Ottoman Viziers (Governors) capital of Bosnia for 150 years (1697 to 1850), was once called the European Istanbul. Today, located 90 kilometers (56 miles) to the northeast of Sarajevo, the town attracts visitors to its historical center, an open
museum of Ottoman architecture. Stari Grad Castle, or Travnik. Lunch is planned at 2:00 PM and after the tour of the town and the
fortress and mosques is planned.
VLAŠIĆ
In the Eko-Fis Vlašić center, sports fields, an entertainment lounge and a zoo are available for guests. They include: adrenaline park, children's playground, mini football, basketball, handball, paintball, spa corner, beach volleyball and tennis courts. Arrival at Vlašić is planned at around 6 pm at Eko-Fis where dinner, free activities and overnight stay are planned.

JAJCE
Throughout Bosnia’s long history, Jajce has been the home of medieval kings, Ottoman governors, and a range of different ethnic groups, as well as being one of President Tito’s earliest Communist strongholds. One of Jajce’s most unique features is this waterfall which is unusually situated right in the center of the town. Part of medieval Jajce’s early development included the construction of an underground church and catacombs.
FOJNICA
Continuation of the journey towards Fojnica, visit to the Franciscan monastery and tour of the museum. In this museum, there is an important document related to Bosnian history from 1463 - Fojnica Ahdnama. It is a document whose content and significance greatly exceed the meaning of local history.
PROKOŠKO LAKE
What's special about this place is that there is no electricity. Mostly farmers reside here and so they use old school methods of energy - a clay oven for cooking, lanterns/candle for light and wood for fire. Due to the high demands of energy in winter, the people living by the lake descend to lower parts of the mountain to beat the cold.
PRICE: 100 EUROS
The price includes one dinner and breakfast in the Eko-Fis Vlašić center. It is possible to organize lunches (if you wish): the first day at a restaurant in Travnik, the second day at a restaurant in Fojnica or a local traditional lunch at Prokosko Lake. They are not yet included in the price, and it is possible to pre-arrange offers and prices with restaurants according to your request. The price does not include tickets to the pyramids, nor the fortress, and other facilities. The prices may vary depending on the number of people going.

KONJIC
Departure from Sarajevo at 9 AM at the agreed place. Arrival to Konjic at 10 AM, city tour, coffee break if necessary, Tito's bunker. The old stone bridge is considered to be one of the points where Bosnia connect with Herzegovina. A city also known for woodcarving.
JABLANICA
Arrival to Jablanica at 1 PM, city tour, Museum of the Battle of the Neretva, Neretva river canyon tour. The city known for the railway bridge over the Neretva that was destroyed during the WW2.
MOSTAR
Arrival to Mostar at 5 PM, hotel check in, city tour, the Old bridge, mosque, free activities. Mostar has been long known for its old Turkish houses and the Old Bridge – Stari most, an extraordinary technological achievement of bridge construction. The Neretva river is famous by its emerald-green color and also being the worlds coldest river. Both make this destination one of Bosnia's and Balkans top attractions. Dinner and overnight in Mostar – Student Hotel Mostar.

BLAGAJ
In the morning, breakfast at the hotel. After that, departure to Blagaj, Buna spring, visit to the tekija. Blagaj, a place where beautiful Buna river rises, and where you can find famous Blagaj Tekija – a 600 years old monastery.
STOLAC
Continuation of the road to Stolac, city and tower tour. On the way to Stolac there is Radimlja Necropolis, and in the city itself, an old town with its significant historical importance. Return to Mostar, free activities. Dinner and overnight.

KRAVICE WATERFALL
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Kravice waterfall. Considered one of Bosnia's most beautiful and biggest waterfalls, located in the southern part of our country. Its height reaches up to 25 meters.
HUTOVO BLATO
Visit to the Hutovo blato or Međugorje nature park. Hutovo Blato is the largest bird reserve in this part of the world, both in terms of size and biodiversity.
PRICE: 120 EUROS
The price includes two dinners and two breakfasts at the Student Hotel Mostar. It is possible to organize lunches (if you wish): the first day in one of the restaurants in Mostar, the second day in a restaurant in Blagaj and the third day on the way back to Jablanica. They are not yet included in the price, so it is possible to agree in advance offers and prices with restaurants according to your request.. BANJA LUKA
Leaving the Sarajevo at 9 AM. Arriving to Banja Luka around 1 PM. Lodging is at the Havana hostel. Banja Luka is an economic, administrative, financial and cultural center with approx. 250 000 inhabitants, and is the second-largest city in size in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The town is situated on both banks of the Vrbas River at the intersection of the Dinaric Mountains to the south and the Pannonian Basin to the north.
DAJAK CLUB
Arrival at Dajak Club and a ride in Dajak (depandable on time). Free time and at the evening - Party at Cafe Kultura. Spending the night at the hostel.

KRUPA NA VRBASU
Breakfast, free time and getting ready for going back. We are leaving to the Krupa, at river Vrbas, after which we are visiting etno village Ljubačke Doline and The lake Balkana (where we will also have a barbaque).
