We are honored to welcome you to the 1st SaMED – International medical students congress in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This congress is an official project of the Association of Students of the Medical Faculty in Sarajevo (ASMF Sarajevo). SaMED is founded by students who want to enable and motivate their colleagues and young researchers from a vast range of fields, a place where they can present their work and exchange ideas and experiences.
The 1st SaMED will be held from the 29th January to the 1st February 2015 in Sarajevo. During the four days of the congress, participants will have the opportunity to present their scientific work, listen to lectures from the leading experts in current fields and to take part in stimulating and inspiring workshops. Of course, an exciting social program is also being prepared.
On the fourth day of the congress we invite you to our post congress tour (PCT). We are planning to visit the most beautiful places in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Mostar, Pocitelj and Blagaj. For those who decide to go with us on the PCT we promise an exciting adventure.
General information
- The 1st SaMED – International medical students congress in Sarajevo will be held from 29th January to 1st February 2015. It will take place in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Official language of the 1st SaMED is English language.Participants can be active participants (authors of research paper) and passive participants (participants who do not have research paper but want to be a part of this congress).
- Congress programme will contain oral and poster presentations, workshops and lectures.
- Active participants can not present more than two research papers during the congress.
Deadline for abstract submission and registration is 1st November 2014.
Congress Fee
1. Early payment – until 15th December 2014 :
- For acitve participants – 50 €
- For passive participants – 60 €
2. Late payment – after 15h December 2014:
- For active participants – 55 €
- For passive participants – 65 €
3. Payment at the Registration desk:
- For active participants – 60 €
- For passive participants – 70 €
4. Congress fee for students studying at the Medical faculty of Sarajevo is:
- For active participants – 25 €
- For passive participants – 30 €
The congress fee includes: accommodation, breakfast,lunch,and dinners,a congress bag with all the relevant congress material inside including the abstract book, and the programme of workshops, lectures and social events.
